Fun stuff coming up... :)
Got a busy day and weekend coming up, but it should be a lot of fun. :)
Going to take Eli and Leliani to the vet today to update their shots, etc. Then have to pick up my car -- finally.
Going to try and go see 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' today. Huzzah for the hotness that is Johnny Depp! ::cheers::
Tonight we're going to the Lyndhurst, Ohio Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Release Party; they're turning an entire mall into Diagon Alley. ::grin:: Should be fun. Yes, we have costumes. Geeks. ;)
Faire this weekend. After the midnight HP party, it should be an adventure. ;) I can't remember the theme for this weekend -- Oh, ack. 'Roman Holiday - Wine and Romans'. Well, all right. That means we're ignoring the theme and just wearing 'regular' garb, lol. I am definitely NOT wearing a toga! ::brightens:: Hey, I can wear the spiffy new bodice of piraticalness, as a warmup for next weekend, which is Pirate Weekend! :)
Fun, fun, fun. I'm going to be a busy little Angelle for the next few days. Oh, and of course, by the time I get back from Ohio, my copy of HP and the Half-Blood Prince should be here, too. Amazon says it shipped yesterday. :)
And there was much rejoicing. ;)
Also have new imps on the way, from a very successful swap yesterday!! :) And there was a TON of rejoicing. ;)
Feeling pretty well, generally. Had a few food cravings yesterday (day 6 of South Beach), but I weathered them pretty well and they passed quickly. I haven't 'cheated' - but on SBD there really is no cheating, I guess, anyhow. If you NEED somethng 'forbidden', just have it and keep on going. But so far I haven't needed it badly enough. ;)
Oh, and apparently 6:45 is what time I wake up on South Beach. I used to be an early-riser (and, I will shame-facedly admit, a real 'morning-person' once I got moving)but in recent years I've been more of a late-sleeper. Or a 'slug', depending on how you define it. ;) My normal waking time without interference has been 9 AM or so for the last several months, perhaps longer. I can stay up late or all night if I have something worthwhile to do (or if I can't sleep, which happens more and more lately, lol), but generally I love to sleep given the chance. But for the last 4 days or so I've naturally awakened at 6:45 AM without prompting. The only thing really different is the diet, so I wonder how that is affecting it.
Anyhow...
